This is peak Rushkoff folks. Forcing us to consider the basic fundamentals of our economic system, at a time when all our other systems are also starting to buckle (political, Taylorism, social, etc.). I think we need to read this — and Doug’s book — and then have a good long chat. Why does this system feel inevitable? Is it? Is the solution emerging organically in the form of new corporate structures (i.e. b corp)? Is greed at the heart of this? How many boats can you water ski behind?
